Our story began on International Women's Day, 8 March 2022, in the community kitchen at Tolworth Station with a small group of friends and local Ukrainian residents, gathered together to give each other comfort and support during a difficult time .

Weekly meetings followed with regular cooking, craft making and eventually, embroidery workshops. This grassroots initiative quickly grew with followers online and people joining the community across the globe. The group became a registared Community Interest Company in May 2024.
